Ranking Methodology
Solarbe Consulting independently compiles this PV module efficiency ranking based on manufacturers’ official disclosures and product technical documentation, providing the industry with multi-dimensional technical evaluation perspectives. The ranking establishes both efficiency and power output as core parallel metrics, presenting through separate lists an objective comparison of different technology pathways (including TOPCon, HJT, xBC, etc.) and their distinct advantages in power generation performance and system compatibility.
Data Collection Scope:
- Corporate official channels
- Authoritative industry exhibitions
- Third-party testing reports
(Ensuring information timeliness and technical parameter traceability)
Selection Criteria:
- Commercial production maturity
- Technological innovation
(Including both mass-produced mainstream products and certified lab-level high-efficiency modules to fully reflect PV technology progress across the R&D-to-manufacturing chain)
Ranking Methodology:
- Efficiency Ranking: Primarily based on module nominal conversion efficiency
- Power Ranking: Focused on power output under Standard Test Conditions (STC)
(These complementary approaches address diverse application needs from distributed rooftops to utility-scale power plants)
Solarbe’s rankings aim to provide investors, developers and end-users with precise technical decision-making references.
