1GW! FTC Solar Signs Supply Agreement for Solar Trackers

Recently, solar tracker manufacturer FTC Solar and engineering firm Levona Renewables have entered into a significant partnership, signing a supply agreement for 1GW of solar trackers and related software. This agreement will further advance solar energy projects in the United States.

According to the agreement, the initial shipment of goods is scheduled for early 2026. The first project is expected to be a 140MW large-scale ground-mounted solar power plant located in Snyder, Texas, which is part of the CT Solar One project currently under development. The CT Solar One project is set to commence construction in early 2026 and is expected to achieve commercial operation by 2028. According to Levona, the project will install nearly 200,000 units of 705Wp polycrystalline bifacial modules. Two additional solar projects—CT Solar Two and CT Solar Three—are also included in this supply agreement. Once operational, these two projects will add 650MW of solar photovoltaic capacity to Texas.
