On February 5th, LONGi officially renewed a three-year cooperation framework agreement with the renowned European energy solutions provider Energy 3000. According to the agreement, LONGi will continue to supply a total of 2 gigawatts (GW) of high-efficiency PV modules to Energy 3000, with a key focus on the high-value HPBC 2.0 products, jointly promoting their application in broader European markets.
This signing not only marks a new level in the strategic partnership between the two parties but also represents a deep continuation of long-term mutual trust and commercial win-win outcomes, following the successful completion and stable delivery of the previous 1.5GW three-year framework from signing to full implementation. This also establishes a solid foundation for LONGi’s expansion in the European market in 2026.
Technology: The Driving Force Behind the Sustained Partnership
During the signing ceremony, the collaborative vision of both parties was further elevated. LONGi elaborated on its “Stable Triangle” energy framework, which centers on solar PV, energy storage, and hydrogen.
Europe’s urgent need for energy transition and its mature market mechanisms provide an ideal platform for LONGi’s integrated “PV + Storage + Hydrogen” solutions. This collaboration with Energy 3000 serves as a crucial cornerstone in building this future energy system.
Founded in 2007, Energy 3000 is a leading solutions and service provider in the European solar PV and energy storage sectors, with business covering project design and full-chain services for both distributed and large-scale power plants. This deepened cooperation aims to leverage the strengths of both companies, accelerate the large-scale deployment of renewable energy in Europe, and fulfill their commitment to the global energy transition.
LONGi’s confidence in this partnership stems from its industry-leading technological prowess. According to Version 67 of the Solar Cell Efficiency Tables led by Professor Martin Green, the “Father of Silicon Solar Cells,” as of the end of 2025, LONGi has secured 10 globally certified efficiency records in multiple cutting-edge technology areas, including heterojunction (HJT), back-contact (BC) cells, and perovskite tandem cells, demonstrating comprehensive technological leadership and innovative resilience.
It is worth noting that the HPBC 2.0 modules, a key supply focus of this agreement, boast a conversion efficiency of up to 24.8% and a stable yield rate exceeding 97%. The more advanced HIBC modules have pushed mass production efficiency to 25.9%, with power output breaking the 700W barrier, making them among the world’s most efficient industrialized PV products. Currently, LONGi’s EcoLife all-black series modules based on this HIBC technology (including 495W, 500W, and 505W models) have officially entered mass production and are being fully introduced to the European market.
This provides solid technological and product support for both parties to promote high-value products in the European market.
Frequent Moves Signal a Robust Start in 2026
Since entering 2026, LONGi has been making multi-dimensional efforts in the European market, showcasing strong momentum for expansion:
- In late January, LONGi signed an agreement with the renowned European PV distributor BM Energy, which will procure 300 megawatts of LONGi’s high-efficiency HPBC 2.0 modules, further strengthening the local distribution network and market penetration capabilities.
- Around the same time, with the support of TÜV SÜD, three of LONGi’s core module models successfully completed their Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and were among the first batch to complete their French Product Environmental Profile (PEP) registration. This move significantly enhances product environmental transparency, providing a crucial green credential for navigating the EU’s increasingly stringent sustainability requirements and deepening market penetration in Europe.
- LONGi’s premium residential brand EcoLife series 500W modules were honored with the 2026 German Excellence Award in the “Energy and Environment” category, recognizing their comprehensive advantages in high-efficiency power generation, environmental adaptability, and aesthetic design. This award reaffirms the international recognition of its brand and product value.
This 2GW framework agreement with Energy 3000 is a key initiative by LONGi, grounded in technological innovation and driven by diverse market strategies, to deepen long-term customer relationships and lead the application of high-efficiency products in Europe.
Through a series of concrete actions, LONGi is continuously strengthening its leading position in the European market, injecting sustained and reliable green momentum into the region’s energy transition.
