Recently, Gujarat-based Atal Solar announced its official entry into photovoltaic manufacturing, creating waves in India’s renewable energy market and expected to inject fresh vitality into the country’s PV industry development.
The company plans to establish a fully automated 1GW TOPCon module manufacturing facility in Rajkot, for which it has already ordered production line equipment from SC Solar. With a total investment of approximately ₹1.25 billion, the factory is projected to commence operations by December 2025.
Atal Solar’s Managing Director Prayag Vansjaliya stated that this investment represents a crucial step in the company’s strategic layout, aiming to capitalize on the rapid growth opportunities in India’s PV market.
