Australia Encourages Citizens to Utilize Solar Energy

On November 4, Chris Bowen, Australia’s Minister for Climate Change and Energy, announced that starting next July, the country will offer households a “minimum of three hours of free solar electricity per day.” This initiative aims to encourage residents to consume more energy during peak daylight hours when solar power generation is most abundant, thereby reducing maintenance costs during periods of high grid load and promoting the development of clean energy.
