Wen Shugang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of the Board of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., met with Andrew Schlossberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Invesco Ltd., in Beijing. Li Ying, Member of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chief Financial Officer of the group company, attended the meeting.
Wen Shugang extended a welcome to Andrew Schlossberg and his delegation, and provided an overview of Huaneng’s operations and development.
Wen Shugang stated that the long-standing cooperation between Huaneng and Invesco has yielded fruitful results. He expressed hope that both sides would deepen their traditional friendship, cherish and consolidate the achievements made, further expand the effectiveness of their collaboration, and elevate the cooperation to new heights.
Andrew Schlossberg remarked that Invesco is optimistic about the development prospects of the Chinese market. He expressed willingness to take this meeting as a new starting point to continue strengthening exchanges and cooperation with Huaneng, achieving mutual benefits and shared development.
