On November 11, Romanian photovoltaic project developer Grup Blauer București announced the successful completion and entry into trial operation of its 174MWp solar power plant. Located in Studina commune, Olt County, southern Romania, the project is scheduled to commence commercial operations by the end of this year.
With the imminent commercial launch of the 174MWp solar project, it is poised to become a significant foothold for Chinese enterprises in the renewable energy market of Central and Eastern Europe. The plant’s operation will not only enhance Romania’s installed capacity for green energy generation but also represents another notable case of a Chinese energy giant deepening overseas investments through a Hong Kong-based platform.
