On July 15, China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., Ltd. disclosed the resolution announcement of its 40th meeting of the second board of directors.
According to the announcement, the meeting reviewed and approved The Proposal on Establishing China Three Gorges Corporation Liaoning Energy Investment Co., Ltd.
Previously, China Three Gorges Corporation had signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Liaoning Provincial People’s Government. In late 2024, Liu Weiping, Chairman and Party Secretary of China Three Gorges Corporation, and Li Fumin, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary, met with Hao Peng, Secretary of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial People’s Congress, and Li Lecheng, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Liaoning Province, in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Following the meeting, both parties attended the signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation framework agreement, with Hao Peng and Liu Weiping unveiling the plaque for China Three Gorges Corporation’s Northeast Branch.
