DAS Solar Unveils High-Efficiency Products and Full-Scenario Solutions at the 18th SNEC

On June 11, 2025, DAS Solar made a grand appearance at the SNEC 2025 exhibition, showcasing its high-efficiency products and comprehensive solutions tailored for ecological, urban, and aquatic scenarios, attracting significant attention from industry professionals.

From its inception, DAS Solar has firmly committed to the N-type technology path. Through continuous refinement and innovation, the company has achieved a mass production efficiency of over 27% for its TOPCon 5.0 cells, with an open-circuit voltage reaching 746mV, leading the industry in N-type technological advancements. At the exhibition, DAS Solar displayed products such as the 660W high-efficiency DAON module with composite frame featuring N-type TOPCon 5.0 cell technology, the 485W all-black DBC module with N-type DBC 3.0 Plus cell technology, the 745W DAON module with steel frame, and the TSiP 2.0 perovskite module.

As a pioneer in N-type technology, DAS Solar highlighted the 660W high-efficiency DAON module with composite frame. This module incorporates advanced technologies such as Poly finger, half-cell passivation, and busbar optimization, significantly enhancing cell efficiency. Compared to conventional TOPCon modules, it offers a power boost of 20-25W. The product has passed 3 times the IEC new standard tests, comes with a 15-year material warranty and a 30-year power warranty, ensuring high reliability. Its low-voltage, high-current design allows for an increased number of modules per string in 1500V systems, saving costs on racking and DC-side cabling, and reducing BOS costs. The composite frame provides strong corrosion resistance, enabling it to withstand harsh environments, extend module lifespan, and lower maintenance costs, making it suitable for marine and tidal flat areas prone to corrosion. Additionally, its excellent insulation and low resistivity support grounding-free design, simplifying installation processes.

Since 2020, DAS Solar has been integrating TOPCon technology with BC technology, initiating R&D on DBC high-efficiency cells and modules. Currently, the mass production efficiency of DBC cells has reached 27.2%. Technologically, it incorporates the TOPCon 5.0 tunneling layer technology and a full-contact passivation structure, with no front-side gridlines, seamlessly integrating into building aesthetics. This effectively avoids light shading by front-side gridlines, significantly boosting cell conversion efficiency and module power, with the module achieving a maximum efficiency of 24.8%. The all-black DBC module’s elegant appearance perfectly meets the aesthetic needs of high-end residential projects. Notably, the DBC modules exhibited at the show are equipped with a triple junction box, a string-level arc-fault rapid shutdown system, and a module-level intelligent rapid shutdown system, reducing voltage to 0V within 1 second, effectively eliminating fire hazards and addressing safety concerns in PV power plants.

The DAON 745W module with steel frame adopts a large-size 78-panel design, offering a module efficiency of 23.4%, fully meeting the market’s urgent demand for high-efficiency PV products. Its stable and reliable anti-UVID performance effectively extends system power generation lifespan, reduces O&M costs, and achieves optimal comprehensive power generation efficiency throughout the product’s lifecycle. The use of steel frames is green and low-carbon, with 80% lower unit carbon emissions compared to aluminum frames. The application of zinc-aluminum-magnesium coating endows the steel frames with excellent corrosion resistance and self-healing ability at cut edges, as well as superior bending and tensile strength, making them suitable for high-load projects.

Leveraging its profound technological accumulation, DAS Solar focuses on cutting-edge material innovation and proactively develops “TOPCon+” platform technology solutions. It actively explores the integration of N-type crystalline silicon and perovskite thin-film tandem cell technologies in perovskite tandem R&D. Currently, large-area four-terminal tandem modules can achieve a power output of 755W and an efficiency of 26.8%.

In the Ecological Solutions exhibition area, DAS Solar showcased representative products in the ecological PV field, such as flexible mounting systems. The DAS Solar flexible PV mounting system utilizes prestressed cable structures to support PV modules, featuring three core advantages: superior wind resistance, high clearance, large span, and high safety. The sliding installation of modules not only improves installation efficiency but also reduces system costs. Compared to traditional mounting systems, it can save over 25% of land use, easily handling complex terrains with slopes exceeding 60°, such as mountains and steep slopes, achieving harmonious coexistence between PV and the environment.

At this exhibition, DAS Solar launched its new flexible tracking mounting system, “SunShadow,” which integrates an advanced flexible drive system to accurately track the sun’s trajectory, boosting power generation by over 10% compared to traditional fixed mounting systems. It reduces steel usage by 30% and requires 50% fewer installations compared to traditional single-axis tracking mounting systems. The flexible mounting system offers flexible layouts, addressing industry pain points such as difficulty in reuse and high costs. Driven by technological innovation, it enables multi-scenario applications of “PV+” such as agri-PV, forestry-PV, fishery-PV, and pasture-PV, reshaping benchmarks for power plant economics and reliability.

In the Aquatic Solutions exhibition area, DAS Solar established a complete independent R&D chain covering floaters, anchoring systems, mounting structures, modules, and O&M for aquatic scenarios. For inland floating PV systems, it uses highly environmentally friendly and weather-resistant aluminum-like polymer materials that resist seawater corrosion and UV aging, enhancing the safety and durability of floaters. These are suitable for lakes, reservoirs, and coal mining subsidence areas, while also supporting aquatic ecological governance during power generation. From nearshore to offshore, offshore floating PV faces complex and variable environmental conditions. DAS Solar has developed highly reliable aquatic PV modules by assessing marine environmental loads. The aquatic PV modules exhibited at the show feature high sealing, “zero” water permeability, UV resistance, and salt spray resistance, with strong environmental adaptability and a service life of up to 30 years. The use of new composite frames reduces costs by 20-25% compared to aluminum frames, achieving long-term power generation value with high economic efficiency.

DAS Solar has researched and selected floaters and mounting materials suitable for marine environments, adopting high-strength non-metallic composite materials like aluminum-like polymers that resist seawater corrosion, significantly enhancing the safety and durability of floaters, capable of withstanding 14-level typhoons and 4-meter waves. Meanwhile, the shading effect of modules above the sea surface effectively reduces water evaporation and inhibits the growth of harmful aquatic plants, aiding in water pollution control. Currently, multiple offshore demonstration projects have been put into operation in Shandong, Fujian, Jiangsu, Anhui, and Guangdong, passing rigorous tests of high weather resistance in complex marine environments such as enclosed aquaculture scenarios, nuclear thermal drainage areas, and offshore islands.

In the Urban Solutions exhibition area, targeting distributed scenarios, DAS Solar launched the ECOSKY lightweight module series, achieving extreme thinness and lightness, while also offering customizable personalization. The newly launched BC lightweight frameless module on the exhibition stand can reduce weight by 50-70% depending on whether a frame is selected. This module adopts adhesive installation method, which is efficient and convenient, suitable for distributed applications such as flat roofs, residential tiles, and industrial and commercial color steel tiles, as well as special scenarios like carports, helipads, and highway slopes. Particularly in roof projects with limited load-bearing capacity, it addresses industry pain points and offers wide applicability. In the balcony PV exhibition area, there are products available in different appearance colors, accompanied by balcony PV mounting systems, transforming idle balconies into mini power plants and becoming a new highlight in urban green energy transformation. Additionally, many PV system products close to daily life were showcased, such as PV backpacks and PV folding charging boards, truly bringing new energy into people’s lives.
