DMEGC Signs UN Women’s Empowerment Principles, Underscoring Commitment to ESG and Gender Equality

Recently, DMEGC officially signed the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs), a joint initiative of the UN Global Compact and UN Women, marking the company’s deepened engagement in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices and demonstrating its corporate social responsibility.

As an international framework, the WEPs offer seven guiding principles for businesses to promote gender equality, among other objectives. By joining this initiative, DMEGC not only commits to values such as workplace equality, equal pay for equal work, and career development opportunities but also takes concrete steps to advance ESG principles and contribute to global sustainable development.

Amid the global shift toward renewable energy, DMEGC firmly believes that female empowerment is an indispensable driving force for sustainable progress. Building on existing policies, the company will further optimize its talent management system, strengthen fairness in recruitment processes, foster a female-friendly work environment, enhance welfare and health measures for female employees, and develop specialized training programs for female technical talent, aiming to create an inclusive workplace in all respects.

Through continuous improvement of management capabilities and skills training, DMEGC will empower more women to achieve career breakthroughs in the green energy sector. Looking ahead, the company plans to extend the WEPs principles to its supply chain management, collaborating with partners to build a more inclusive industrial ecosystem.

With the motto “Empowering Equality, Illuminating the Future,” DMEGC regards this signing as a new starting point. On its journey toward carbon neutrality, the company aims to make diversity and inclusion a wellspring of innovation, providing lasting impetus for high-quality development in the industry.
