In January 2025, Kunshan GCL Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd’s pilot production line successfully developed a 2048 cm² perovskite-silicon tandem module, which achieved a stabilized power conversion efficiency of 29.51% as verified by China’s National Institute of Metrology. This breakthrough sets a new global efficiency record for large-area perovskite modules, reinforcing the company’s leadership in the sector.
The company is now advancing toward mass production and commercial deployment of its 2.76 m² modules, with a strategic focus on optimizing long-term operational stability and reliability.
