Greenvolt and Entrix Partner to Launch Optimization and Trading for 5.2 GWh Mega Energy Storage Assets in Poland

Greenvolt Power, a subsidiary of the Greenvolt Group, has signed an exclusive agreement with Entrix to conduct market optimization and power trading for a portfolio of five large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Poland. The portfolio boasts a total installed capacity of 1.3 GW and an energy storage capacity of 5.2 GWh.

Greenvolt Power, a leading developer of grid-scale wind, solar, and battery storage projects under the Greenvolt Group (a portfolio company of KKR), strategically selected Entrix—a European leader in flexibility resource trading—as its exclusive partner. Entrix will manage multi-market optimization for these BESS assets to maximize their technical performance and market value.

Currently, Greenvolt Power holds a weighted project pipeline of 13.2 GW, with over 4.3 GW dedicated to energy storage, further solidifying its role as a key driver of Europe’s energy transition. With a presence in Poland spanning more than 18 years, Greenvolt’s grid-scale project pipeline includes 730 MW of wind power, 1,878 MW of solar PV, and 2,712 MW of battery storage capacity, reinforcing its position as one of Poland’s and Europe’s leading renewable energy developers.
