Hoymiles Inks Exclusive Strategic Partnership with Hungarian Energy Leader GNX Engineering to Expand Europe’s Energy Storage Market

Hoymiles, a BNEF Tier 1 global energy storage solutions provider, has formally signed an exclusive strategic cooperation agreement with GNX Engineering Kft (GNX), a leading Hungarian renewable energy firm, at its Hangzhou headquarters. GNX CEO Daniel Racsek, Technical Director Roland Horvath, and Hoymiles President Yang Bo and European Energy Storage Director Liu Jian attended the signing ceremony. Under the agreement, GNX will serve as Hoymiles’ exclusive strategic partner in Hungary, with both parties focusing on industrial and commercial (C&I) energy storage to jointly develop Hungary’s solar-plus-storage market and extend their collaboration across Europe.

GNX, a subsidiary of Hungary’s largest EPC firm KESZ GROUP, is a prominent local energy solutions provider specializing in full-cycle renewable energy services. Renowned for its rigorous technical standards, GNX exclusively adopts solutions from high-quality manufacturers, earning strong market recognition in Hungary, particularly in C&I and utility-scale energy storage projects.

As a subsidiary of KESZ GROUP, Hungary’s largest EPC firm, GNX specializes in full-cycle renewable energy services and has built a reputation for selecting only premium-quality solutions. Hoymiles, recognized for its cutting-edge energy storage technologies, has already deployed its HoyPrime containerized energy storage systems, HoyCore outdoor liquid-cooled solutions, and HoyUltra all-in-one units in Hungary, gaining local market attention. The alignment of Hoymiles’ advanced technology and GNX’s stringent performance requirements forms a solid foundation for joint market expansion in Hungary and beyond.

Hungary, a high-potential emerging market in Central and Eastern Europe, has ramped up policy support for new energy, particularly in energy storage. The government’s H-RES initiative offers up to 20% investment subsidies for C&I storage projects, driving market growth.

Leveraging GNX’s local expertise and Hoymiles’ Tier 1 technology, the partnership aims to deliver intelligent, high-efficiency storage solutions for Hungary’s booming market. The collaboration also sets a replicable model for broader European markets.
