Huasun Energy Teams Up With Three Gorges Shanghai Institute and Malaysia’s Amerivexx to Chart New Green Energy Landscape in Southeast Asia

On October 17, 2025, at the 2025 International Green Energy & Environmental Exhibition Malaysia (IGEM 2025) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Huasun Energy, a global leader in high-efficiency HJT technology, jointly announced with Shanghai Investigation, Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of China Three Gorges Corporation) and local Malaysian developer Amerivexx Sdn Bhd the official establishment of a tripartite project development collaboration. This alliance aims to deeply integrate the core strengths of the three parties in project experience, cutting-edge technology, global supply chains, and local market resources, to jointly build an innovative and robust PV project development platform for Malaysia and the wider Southeast Asian region.

According to the agreement, the collaboration is grounded in the present while focusing on the long term. In the short term, the parties will pool their efforts to advance a large-scale ground-mounted PV power plant project with a capacity of 120MW, solidifying the foundation of their cooperation. Looking toward the medium to long-term goals for 2030, the partnership will expand into broader areas: plans include jointly developing and constructing offshore PV projects with a total capacity of up to 1GW, alongside the simultaneous development of five medium-sized integrated PV-storage power supply modules. These initiatives are designed to deeply integrate efficient and reliable HJT PV technology into Malaysia’s energy structure adjustment, significantly increasing the proportion of clean energy in the power mix.
