JA Solar Inks MOUs with Australian Firms for 250MW Solar Module Supply

Leading global solar energy solutions provider JA Solar has recently secured memorandum of understanding (MOU) agreements with two prominent Australian clean energy firms—NSEG and YES Group—to supply a combined 250 megawatts (MW) of high-efficiency solar modules to the Australian market by 2025. The partnerships underscore JA Solar’s expanding footprint in Australia’s burgeoning renewable energy sector.

NSEG, a top-tier residential, commercial, and government-focused rooftop solar installer in Australia, has deployed over 60,000 photovoltaic (PV) systems nationwide and distributes solar and energy-efficient products to dozens of local companies. The firm is committed to driving Australia’s sustainable energy transition while delivering measurable benefits to clients through its end-to-end services.

YES Group, a vertically integrated solar developer with a strong presence in Australia, offers diversified services spanning project development, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC). The company distinguishes itself with turnkey solar solutions and a dedicated talent pipeline, cultivating skilled electricians, apprentices, and technical assistants across the country.

Blake Williams, Chief Commercial Officer of YES Group, emphasized the strategic alignment with JA Solar: “As a globally recognized vertically integrated manufacturer, JA Solar’s rigorous quality control across the solar value chain perfectly complements YES Group’s focus on delivering best-in-class project outcomes. This partnership will enable us to offer unparalleled solutions to our clients.”
