Recently, Jinko ESS has successfully won two 5MWh grid-scale energy storage projects in Italy, marking its official entry into the Italian large-scale storage market. The projects, scheduled for delivery in October 2025 and March 2026 respectively, will feature Jinko ESS’s Blue Whale G2 5MWh liquid-cooled containerized systems. These systems will provide frequency regulation and renewable energy integration services for Italy’s national grid, accelerating the country’s progress toward its goal of achieving 45% renewable energy by 2030.
