On December 6, the Jinko Power Qinhuangdao Haigang District 100MW/400MWh independent energy storage station project, invested in and constructed by Jinko Power (601778.SH), officially commenced construction. Upon completion, the project will be capable of storing and discharging approximately 400,000 kWh of electricity in a single cycle, providing robust support for peak shaving, frequency regulation, and other needs of the Qinhuangdao and Northern Hebei power grids.
Located in Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, the project is planned as a 100MW/400MWh lithium iron phosphate energy storage system, to be fully constructed in this phase. The site is set to be equipped with 80 battery containers of 5.015MWh each and 20 integrated PCS containers of 5MW each, connected to the Shanhaiguan Wulitai 220 kV substation.
