Jinko Solar: Vast Majority of Module Capacity to Reach 650-670W Next Year

Recently, Jinko Solar (SH:688223) stated during investor research that the company has completed technological upgrades at two production facilities in its Shangrao and Shanxi bases. By the end of this year, high-power products above 640W will account for 40-50% of the company’s total production capacity, and the vast majority of its capacity is expected to reach the mainstream power level of 650-670W next year. The company has already begun partial deliveries of high-power products above 640W in Q3 of this year, with larger-scale deliveries starting in Q4. It is anticipated that the majority of orders next year will shift to high-power products above 640W.

Jinko Solar also noted that, leveraging its forward-looking R&D strategy and deep technical expertise, it is taking the lead in the industry by upgrading TOPCon capacity to higher power levels. The company expects its advanced production capacity to achieve power levels of around 670W next year, with the potential to reach 680-700W in the next two to three years, maintaining a 1-2 tier lead over major competitors. The continuous improvement in TOPCon cell efficiency is driven by optimizations in metallization technology, as well as enhancements in front-side structures, new materials, and other innovations, including invisible grid line technology and back-side structural optimizations. The company is confident that the mass production efficiency of TOPCon cells will exceed 28% within the next 2-3 years.
