Jinko Solar’s Tiger Neo Modules Help Chulalongkorn University Build Thailand’s First RE100 Building

Jinko Solar recently supplied a 120kWp rooftop photovoltaic system to the University’s Center of Excellence in Electrical Technology for its groundbreaking RE100 (100% Renewable Energy) project at Gewertz Square. The project utilizes 196 high-efficiency Tiger Neo N-type TOPCon modules, which will not only provide clean electricity for the campus’s sustainable transition but also serve as a living laboratory for renewable energy research. This initiative strongly supports Thailand’s carbon neutrality goals and establishes an integrated clean energy ecosystem within the campus.

Through this project, Gewertz Square will become Thailand’s first RE100 microgrid demonstration zone achieving fully integrated renewable energy. The system enables round-the-clock clean power supply while providing engineering students with hands-on research opportunities in grid resilience and energy management.
