Jolywood Demonstrates Technological Innovation Again with TOPCon Cell Breakthrough

Jolywood has recently showcased its technological innovation prowess once more. Its independently developed TOPCon cell has successfully passed the rigorous testing of the National Photovoltaic Industry Metrology and Testing Center (NPVM), earning a maximum power temperature coefficient certification of -0.2557%/℃. This groundbreaking achievement not only signifies a significant leap for Jolywood in high-efficiency photovoltaic technology but also heralds a new milestone in solar power generation efficiency and stability.

Test results reveal that Jolywood’s TOPCon solar cell temperature coefficient has far surpassed the industry average. It is on par with the highly anticipated HJT solar cell’s temperature coefficient of -0.24%/℃ and significantly outperforms the -0.29%/℃ of traditional TOPCon cells and the -0.34%/℃ of PERC cells.

Behind this excellent temperature coefficient lies Jolywood’s comprehensive optimization of the TOPCon solar cell’s structural design, material selection, and manufacturing process. On the front side of the TOPCon cell, a low-concentration boron doping technology is employed. Combined with Jolywood’s unique Jet Submerged Metallization (JSIM) technology, novel special pastes, and heterojunction passivation and anti-reflection coating technology, it greatly reduces the front emitter and metal recombination. Based on Jolywood’s innovative low-temperature POPAID route, a stacked poly passivation technology is introduced on the back side of the cell. This not only enhances the back-side passivation performance but also reduces parasitic absorption and improves the bifaciality. The combined application of multiple passivation technologies reduces the carrier recombination behavior of the cell, significantly increasing the open-circuit voltage of the TOPCon cell. As a result, the cell’s photoelectric performance is less affected by temperature.
