Following the successful launch event in London last week, Longi held its second global large-scale energy storage product launch in Madrid, Spain, on December 3 local time. As one of Europe’s most dynamic and strategically critical markets for photovoltaics and energy storage, Spain plays a pivotal role in Europe’s renewable energy transition.
The event attracted over 150 energy experts, investors, and industry analysts from around the world. It not only marked a significant milestone in Longi’s global “Solar-Storage-Hydrogen Integration” strategy but also signaled Longi’s commitment to playing a more critical role in Southern Europe, supporting the region’s transition to a safer, more stable, and reliable energy system.
With the ongoing advancement of global new power systems, energy storage has emerged as a strategic breakthrough in the energy transition, serving as a key technological enabler for grid regulation, stability, and reliability. At the event, Dennis She, Vice President of Longi Green Energy Technology, introduced the “Stable Energy Triangle” framework against the backdrop of the projected doubling of global electricity demand by 2050. “The future competition in the energy storage industry will no longer be solely about ‘technological leadership’ but about ‘reliable value.’ Therefore, Longi has proposed the future-oriented ‘Solar-Storage-Hydrogen’ Stable Energy Triangle Strategy, shifting from building single-technology barriers to establishing value barriers centered on safety, reliability, and robustness.”
Leveraging its fully self-developed 5S core technology and a global track record of zero thermal runaway across over 12 GWh of deployments, Longi, in collaboration with PotisEdge, is setting new benchmarks for safety and performance in energy storage systems with its centralized and commercial & industrial smart energy storage solutions. The solution’s ultimate safety design philosophy, significantly improved maintenance-friendliness, and localized “Solar-Storage Technology Innovation Center” rooted in European customer service further enhance Longi’s efficiency in delivering full lifecycle localized professional services and long-term returns for customers.
During the event, Longi also engaged in in-depth discussions with key clients in Southern Europe on regional energy structures, the potential for solar-storage integration, and future industry trends, demonstrating its firm commitment to partnering with stakeholders to drive Europe’s energy transition.
Looking ahead, Longi will continue to be guided by its “Solar-Storage-Hydrogen Integration” strategy, focusing on technological innovation and reliable value. Together with global customers and partners, Longi aims to promote high-quality development in the energy sector, accelerate the large-scale adoption of new energy systems, and seize greater development opportunities.
