LONGi Green Energy and Inox Solar Sign 5GW Module Supply MoU

According to an October 30 report by Indian media, Inox Solar, a subsidiary of Indian clean energy company Inox Clean Energy, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with LONGi Green Energy Technology, a leading Chinese photovoltaic manufacturer. The agreement stipulates that between 2026 and 2030, LONGi will supply up to 5GW of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules cumulatively to the Indian market.

Although specific commercial terms of the agreement were not publicly disclosed, industry practices indicate that such large-scale supply agreements typically cover multiple generations of product lines. Based on current technology applications, the supplied modules will primarily utilize PERC and TOPCon technologies, while the agreement also maintains flexibility for technological upgrades, allowing room for the future integration of more advanced cell technologies.
