During the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30), LONGi, in collaboration with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), announced the official launch of their 2025 cooperative project—”Green Energy Empowerment for Vulnerable Communities in Brazil.” As a globally leading solar technology company, LONGi is committed to leveraging high-efficiency back-contact (BC) technology to improve the living conditions and quality of life for refugees and vulnerable groups, advancing global energy equity and sustainable development. The launch ceremony was attended by Andrew Harper, Special Advisor on Climate Action to UNHCR; Davide Torzilli, UNHCR Representative in Brazil; Li Zhenguo, Founder and Chief Technology Officer of LONGi Green Energy Technology; and Jonathan Colombo, Senior Manager for Sustainability and Market Development in Latin America.
