Longi has partnered with Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina) to supply high-efficiency solar modules for the North Oman Solar Project. This project is a 100-megawatt renewable energy initiative led by OQ Alternative Energy (OQAE), a subsidiary of Oman’s state-owned energy conglomerate OQ.
The solar power plant, situated in northern Oman, is being jointly developed by OQAE and TotalEnergies. Once operational, it will provide clean electricity to Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). The project is being undertaken by PowerChina Group.
Longi will deliver high-performance modules optimized for Oman’s harsh climatic conditions, characterized by high temperatures and dust. The company will also offer ongoing technical and operational support to ensure a consistent and reliable energy output.
