Recently, the Chengdu High-Tech Zone Ecological Environment and Urban Management Bureau approved environmental impact assessment documents for multiple projects. Among them, the 2025 perovskite-silicon tandem solar cell expansion project by Chengdu Jingxin Mingneng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. has received official approval.
This marks the company’s first expansion project application, focusing on the R&D of perovskite-silicon tandem solar cells. With a total investment of 19 million yuan (approximately $2.6 million), the project is expected to add an annual R&D capacity of 60,000 standard silicon solar cells.
