What must remain available?
Define the facility, users, critical equipment, operating hours and tolerated interruption for each load group.
What powers the site now?
Record grid or cooperative supply, diesel or other backup, fuel route, existing solar, metering and the causes and pattern of interruptions.
Who restores operation?
Name the owner, operator, technician, spare-parts route, remote-support path and decision maker after a fault or severe-weather event.
Compare resilience as a complete operating system.
The equipment package must match environment, logistics, control and the people available to maintain it.
Site and environment
Check usable area, wind exposure, salt and humidity, shading, access, mounting, cleaning and transport to the site.
Duty and safety
Define the operating function, usable energy, power, charge source, thermal conditions, enclosure, safety files and replacement path.
Sources working together
Explain the grid, generator, PV, storage, load priorities, black-start/restart logic, communications, alarms and manual fallback.
People, spares and weather
Show who can inspect, isolate, restart, repair and document the system, including logistics after severe weather.
Bring these facts to the first supplier meeting.
Unknown conditions should remain open. They should not be replaced with a generic island-system size or savings percentage.
