On August 19, the PowerChina Xianlong 270MW Agri-Photovoltaic Complementary Project in Yongchuan District, Chongqing, with a total investment of 4.2 billion yuan, officially commenced construction, alongside the launch of the artificial cavern compressed air energy storage project.
It is reported that the 270MW agri-photovoltaic complementary project in Yongchuan District involves an investment of approximately 1 billion yuan and is expected to generate an annual electricity output of 283 million kWh. Once operational, the project will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 282,100 tons and save 85,400 tons of standard coal annually.
