Risen Energy Unveils Innovative Solar-Storage Solutions at Solar & Storage Live Philippines 2025, Addressing Southeast Asia’s Energy Transition Needs

Risen Energy, a global leader in full-stack new energy solutions, showcased its innovative technological prowess through large-scale ground-mounted power plant and industrial-commercial hybrid solar-storage solutions at the Solar & Storage Live Philippines 2025 on May 19. At the exhibition, Risen Energy also introduced its newly developed energy storage product for the Southeast Asian market—the Risen Flex stackable air-cooled energy storage split unit.

The Philippines, located in Southeast Asia and comprising over 7,000 islands, boasts abundant sunlight resources with an average annual sunshine duration exceeding 2,000 hours (reaching up to 2,300 hours in some regions), offering significant potential for solar energy development. However, the country also faces unique energy challenges. Geographical fragmentation leads to inadequate power interconnection between islands, with some remote areas still relying on diesel generators. Additionally, the extreme climate conditions, including frequent typhoons, impose stringent requirements on the reliability and disaster resilience of energy equipment. Risen Energy’s hybrid solar-storage solutions, characterized by high efficiency, safety, and reliability, offer a credible pathway for the Philippines’ energy transition.

Catering to the diverse energy needs of Southeast Asia, Risen Energy launched the Risen Flex stackable air-cooled energy storage split unit at the exhibition. This product features a modular design for stackable installation, with a single-unit power capacity of 100kW/215kWh. It supports off-grid parallel operation of up to three units and grid-connected parallel operation of up to six units, enabling flexible adaptation to various application scales. The product is highly integrated with BMS, EMS, PCS, STS, and MPPT, supporting maximum power point tracking and module expansion to accommodate multiple energy sources, including solar and wind power. Its wide operating temperature range (-40°C to 60°C) and rapid grid-connection/disconnection switching capability (<10ms) allow it to withstand extreme climates and sudden power outages. Furthermore, the Risen Flex incorporates foolproof wiring design, unified copper busbar specifications, dual-sided side air ducts, and screw-free front panel installation, enhancing the convenience of installation and operation and maintenance, making it an ideal solution for Southeast Asia’s energy transition.

In the large-scale ground-mounted power plant sector, Risen Energy’s hybrid solar-storage solutions provide robust support for the Philippines’ energy infrastructure development. The combination of Hyper-ion Pro HJT modules and the eTron 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system offers stable and reliable power supply for large-scale power plants. The Hyper-ion Pro modules utilize advanced n-type HJT technology, achieving a mass production power output exceeding 730Wp+ and a conversion efficiency of over 23.5%, with a first-year degradation rate of only 1% and a 30-year power retention rate exceeding 90%. This not only maximizes the utilization of the Philippines’ solar resources but also significantly reduces power generation costs. The eTron 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system, equipped with a five-layer safety protection mechanism covering cell-level safety, BMS real-time monitoring, PCS precise control, and the Golden Shield intelligent early warning system, has obtained international authoritative certifications such as UL and IEC. In hybrid operation mode, this solution fully adapts to the Philippines’ extreme climate and peak-shaving demands, enhancing power supply reliability and optimizing the allocation of power resources.

Additionally, the eFlex 836kWh liquid-cooled energy storage system offers diverse options for the Philippines’ new energy market. Designed for complex application scenarios, this system combines high performance, energy density, flexibility, and adaptability, making it suitable for small to medium-sized energy projects and off-grid applications, closely aligning with the Philippines’ market needs. Given the country’s geographical fragmentation and high safety requirements, the system employs a high-energy-density design and modular structure, saving space while facilitating transportation and installation. Advanced liquid cooling technology ensures stable system temperature during charging and discharging, guaranteeing efficient operation and long-term durability of the energy storage system.

In the industrial-commercial sector, Risen Energy’s hybrid solar-storage solutions provide efficient and intelligent energy solutions. The combination of HJT Hyper-ion Pro modules and the iCon 100kW/215kWh industrial-commercial liquid-cooled energy storage all-in-one unit offers stable and reliable power supply for industrial-commercial users. The Hyper-ion Pro modules ensure efficient utilization of solar resources, while the iCon all-in-one unit, designed specifically for small to medium-sized industrial-commercial scenarios, features a compact size and convenient installation. Paired with the Risen Cloud intelligent management platform, the system enables real-time monitoring and intelligent control, ensuring optimal operation and providing a solid foundation for the Philippines’ energy transition.
