Sigenergy officially commenced construction of its “Smart PV-Storage-Charging System Mass Production Base Project” in the Suxitong Science and Technology Industrial Park, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province on May 22, 2025.
The project spans a total land area of approximately 115 acres, with a total construction area of around 115,000 square meters and a total investment of 500 million yuan. A modern smart factory will be established, comprising newly built workshops, R&D and design centers, warehouses, comprehensive office buildings, and supporting auxiliary facilities. The facility will focus on large-scale production of core products, including photovoltaic (PV) inverters, residential energy storage PACKs, commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage PACKs, and backup power cabinets (Gateway). Upon completion and operation, the project is expected to achieve an annual combined production capacity of over 300,000 units of inverters and energy storage PACKs, significantly enhancing Sigen’s delivery capabilities and response speed in the global new energy market.
