Recently, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) released its list of Tier 1 global photovoltaic module manufacturers for the first quarter of 2026. TCL Solar, demonstrating robust performance, continues to hold its position in the top tier of global PV module manufacturing, showcasing a sustained positive development trajectory.
The BNEF Tier 1 rating serves as a core benchmark for global financial institutions and large-scale project developers to evaluate the bankability of module manufacturers. This dynamic assessment examines factors including a company’s technological maturity, mass production scale, financial health, and track record of overseas project delivery. It is noteworthy that starting from the second quarter of 2025, BNEF raised the project capacity threshold for inclusion from 5 MW to 10 MW, further increasing the difficulty of selection. TCL Solar’s consecutive inclusion not only confirms its solid standing within the PV industry chain but also reflects sustained global market recognition of its long-term operational capabilities, product quality, and financing appeal.
