Recently, Tongwei Co., Ltd. formally entered into a tripartite strategic cooperation agreement with international renewable energy developer Constant Energy and its key regional partner in Thailand, Sunday Solar Supply. This collaboration will focus on the Southeast Asian market, jointly promoting the large-scale application of high-efficiency solar modules and supporting the region’s green energy transition.
Leveraging its proven product adaptability and project experience across multiple global markets, Tongwei will capitalize on its advanced R&D capabilities and mature manufacturing expertise to supply efficient and reliable TNC modules for the collaborative projects. Tongwei will also ensure timely delivery and comprehensive lifecycle service support, providing robust assurance for the construction of local photovoltaic power stations.
As Tongwei’s key local partner in Thailand and surrounding markets, Sunday Solar Supply has laid a solid foundation for this tripartite collaboration through its deep understanding of regional markets and extensive channel capabilities. One of the initial cooperative projects—a 52-megawatt solar plant awarded to Constant Energy under the Malaysian government’s fifth Large Scale Solar (LSS) program—is set to commence construction, serving as the first demonstration case of this partnership. Moving forward, the collaboration will expand to more Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, with a focus on developing large-scale PV projects that deliver both economic scale and exemplary impact.
