Trina Tracker’s 360MW Project Deployed in Complex Terrain in Spain

Recently, Trina Tracker announced a collaboration with a Spanish EPC company to provide a total of 360MW of intelligent tracking system solutions for two large-scale photovoltaic projects in Spain. The collaboration plans to deliver approximately 11,000 Vanguard 1P single-row tracking systems to support the projects’ efficient power generation and stable operation.

This partnership further consolidates Trina Tracker’s project portfolio in the Spanish and European markets, also demonstrating the company’s continuously improving engineering delivery capabilities within mature photovoltaic markets.

During the project development phase, both projects faced challenges related to complex geological conditions and construction organization. Addressing the distinctly layered and highly variable foundation environments, Trina Tracker’s global engineering technology team collaborated closely with the EPC’s engineering team to systematically review and analyze geological survey reports and POT test data.

Through joint technical assessments, both parties optimized the pile length and type configurations, and rationally divided areas for direct driving and pre-drilling. This ensured structural safety and stability while better aligning the construction方案 with the actual site conditions.

Furthermore, earthwork control was considered a crucial factor in the projects. Through structural design optimization and enhanced system adjustability, the tracking systems can adapt to terrain undulations, reducing the need for additional site intervention.

During the project execution phase, Trina Tracker’s local team rapidly organized testing and on-site support, completing relevant验证 within tight timelines, thereby creating conditions for the projects to proceed as scheduled.

Commenting on this, Gonzalo Baselga, Head of Trina Tracker Europe, stated: “Spain is one of the regions in Europe with the most stringent technical requirements for photovoltaic projects and the most intense market competition. This project collaboration not only validates the technical support capability of our global engineering platform but also highlights the in-depth service capability of our local team in project delivery. By integrating geological survey analysis, customized structural design, and rapid on-site response, we help clients systematically control project risks, ensuring the projects advance efficiently and reliably even under complex conditions.”

Leveraging the synergy between its global technology platform and local service system, Trina Tracker continues to enhance its comprehensive capabilities in structural design, geological adaptation, and engineering support. In the future, the company will continue to deepen its presence in the Spanish and European markets, providing long-term support for Spain’s energy transition process with stable and reliable product systems and localized service capabilities, and continuously contributing to the development of regional renewable energy.
