Against the backdrop of accelerating global energy transition, the U.S. renewable energy market is embracing historic development opportunities. Wood Mackenzie’s latest forecast projects that the United States will add 502 GW (DC) of solar capacity over the next decade, with integrated photovoltaic-energy storage (PV-storage) emerging as a pivotal solution to regional energy challenges.

On May 20 (local time), Risen Energy unveiled its integrated PV-storage solutions at the American Clean Power Expo in Phoenix, Arizona, presenting two core scenarios: utility-scale power plants and commercial & industrial (C&I) applications. By seamlessly integrating high-efficiency modules with intelligent energy storage systems, Risen Energy aims to meet diverse clean energy demands and deliver sustainable solutions across the American market.
Risen Energy’s utility-scale PV-storage scenario establishes a complete value chain from efficient power generation to secure energy storage and flexible peak shaving. The Hyper-ion Pro module, leveraging n-type heterojunction (HJT) technology, pushes performance boundaries with a mass-production power rating exceeding 730Wp and conversion efficiency surpassing 23.5%. Its first-year degradation rate is just 1%, with a 30-year power retention rate exceeding 90%. Combined with a -0.24%/°C power temperature coefficient and a 90%±5% bifaciality design, the module delivers over 3% additional energy yield, ensuring stable, high-efficiency output in Arizona’s high-temperature desert conditions.
The eTron 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system, equipped with a five-layer safety protection framework, provides large-capacity, high-reliability storage support for utility-scale plants, effectively addressing demand for large-scale power storage and dispatch. It is particularly suited for regions in the U.S. Southwest characterized by high irradiance and extreme weather. Meanwhile, the eFlex 836kWh liquid-cooled energy storage system is tailored for small-to-medium projects and off-grid applications, integrating high performance, energy density, flexibility, and adaptability. Its liquid-cooling technology maintains a charge/discharge temperature difference below 3°C, while its modular design enables flexible configuration based on project needs, enhancing scalability and adaptability. This system can be rapidly deployed to remote islands or off-grid communities, replacing costly diesel generation.
Addressing the needs of U.S. C&I users facing peak-valley electricity price differentials and reliability demands, Risen Energy’s C&I PV-storage scenario achieves precise matching of self-generated PV power and intelligent energy storage dispatch. The Hyper-ion Pro module, combined with the iCon 125kW/261kWh C&I liquid-cooled all-in-one energy storage system, forms a synergistic PV-storage partnership. The iCon all-in-one system integrates a battery management system (BMS), energy management system (EMS), and power conversion system (PCS), enabling real-time data collection (1x/second) and AI-driven load forecasting to dynamically adjust charge/discharge strategies. This helps enterprises optimize electricity costs. When paired with the Risen Cloud intelligent management platform, users can monitor systems in real-time via mobile devices, remotely locate faults, and upgrade systems, achieving simplified and intelligent operations.
Risen Energy’s integrated PV-storage solutions not only address the unique energy challenges of the U.S. market but also set a benchmark for global clean energy innovation, driving the transition toward a sustainable energy future.
