On November 20, Xinyi Solar (HK:00968) announced that the company and Xinyi Energy have agreed to sell a combined 51% equity stake in their non-wholly-owned subsidiary, Xinyi Solar (Tianjin), for RMB 515 million. The buyer is Tianjin Binhai Construction Investment New Energy. As of the announcement date, Xinyi Solar holds a 50.75% stake in Xinyi Energy and is its single largest shareholder. Xinyi Solar (Tianjin) is a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of Xinyi Solar.
