BECE saw profit increase in semi-annual financial report 2021

Chinese energy company Beijing Enterprises Clean Energy Group Limited (BECE) released its semi-annual financial report on August 27, showing its operating revenue of about HK $3,0192 billion up to June 30, 2021, an increase of about 32% over the same period last year.


The total assets of the company were about HK $58,8608 billion, an increase of about 3% over the end of last year. Total liabilities amounted to approximately HK $45,2107 billion, an increase of about 3%.

The report revealed that as of June 30, 2021, the total installed capacity of photovoltaic power stations and wind power stations held and / or managed by BECE and operated has reached about 3,547 MW, of which the total installed capacity has reached about 2,850 MW (accounting for more than 80% of the group’s existing grid connected capacity), which has been successfully included in the list of national renewable energy power generation subsidy projects.

The company also holds 50 centralized photovoltaic power stations covering 12 provinces, one municipality and two autonomous regions across the country, as well as one held in Whyalla, Australia, which has been put into operation. The total grid connected capacity of these photovoltaic power stations reached 2,241 MW.

The total installed capacity of distributed photovoltaic power stations held and / or managed by BECE and operated has reached about 700 MW, mainly distributed in Henan, Anhui, Shandong, Jiangsu and Hebei Provinces. During the period, the total installed capacity of such projects included in the subsidy project list reached about 550 MW.
