Jinergy open up Brazil’s market with newly upgraded products

Jinergy’s new upgraded module products recently have been listed in Brazil’s authoritative INMETRO. In the face of increasingly fierce competition in the global photovoltaic market, the performance of the newly upgraded module products of Jinergy has reached the Brazilian national standard, which also means that the company and its Brazilian partners will establish a deeper trust relationship.

In 2014, the Brazilian government launched the first round of large-scale bidding, which made a breakthrough in Brazil’s large-scale projects. As of 2014-2019, Brazil has completed seven rounds of photovoltaic bidding. In addition, at the end of 2015, in order to encourage the development of distributed energy, the Brazilian government encouraged the public to install distributed power stations through tax and credit lines. Brazil’s photovoltaic market has progressed from the embryonic stage in 2012 to rapid growth. By the end of 2019, the cumulative installed capacity of photovoltaic in Brazil has reached 4.4GW, including 1.9GW for distributed projects and 2.5GW for large-scale ground projects.

According to the latest report released by Greener, an industry consultancy in Brazil, despite the COVID-19 outbreak, the Brazilian photovoltaic market maintained a relatively stable growth trend in the first half of the year, with only a slight decrease in newly installed photovoltaic capacity and a significant increase in imports of photovoltaic modules, inverters and other products.

Although the Brazilian photovoltaic market is promising, in order to ensure that the module power generation performance meets the Brazilian national standards, all photovoltaic products exported to Brazil must obtain the INMETRO listing before entering the market.

At present, the company has provided high efficiency and high quality solar modules to Japan, South Korea, Australia, Germany, Ukraine, India, Pakistan and other countries. In the future, Jinergy will continue to lead the industrial progress with technological innovation, bring China’s advanced photovoltaic manufacturing technology to the world, and promote the transformation of global energy structure.
