Recently, German photovoltaic company Grid Parity AG announced that it has entered preliminary insolvency administration (vorläufige Insolvenzverwaltung). The company stated that its current primary goal is to proceed with restructuring while maintaining operations and ensuring the continued employment of its 11 staff members. The insolvency administrator is working closely with the management team to seek new investors or strategic partners for the business to ensure its continuity.
Established in 2012, Grid Parity has long focused on the urban photovoltaic (UrbanPV) and agrivoltaic (AgriPV) sectors. The company aims to go beyond power generation by integrating photovoltaic systems structurally and aesthetically into buildings, carports, landscapes, and other scenarios.
