JinkoSolar Repeats on Fortune China ESG Impact List, Reinforcing Leadership in Sustainability

Global solar leader JinkoSolar has been recognized on the 2025 Fortune China ESG Impact List for the second consecutive year, joining over 300 companies worldwide in a selection that highlights outstanding contributions to sustainability, technological innovation, and zero-carbon solutions. The accolade underscores JinkoSolar’s influence in the ESG sector and its role as a corporate model for the industry.

Compiled for the fourth consecutive year, the Fortune China ESG Impact List received applications from nearly 300 Chinese enterprises and subsidiaries of multinational corporations operating in China. Among them, 100 companies were selected for their exceptional efforts in environmental stewardship, employee welfare, and community support. JinkoSolar’s inclusion reflects its dedication to environmental management, social responsibility, and corporate governance.

As the world’s first solar and energy storage technology company to pass all three Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation milestones, JinkoSolar has established a carbon-reduction operating system spanning its entire value chain—from R&D and manufacturing to transportation. Leveraging intelligent operations and low-carbon management, the company has built nine authoritatively certified “zero-carbon factories.” These facilities produce Neo Green low-carbon modules powered by renewable energy, injecting fresh momentum into global climate action.

JinkoSolar has also demonstrated innovation and proactivity in fulfilling global social responsibilities. Earlier, it successfully deployed a high-efficiency microgrid solution in Nigeria, providing stable power to meet at least 50% of the Nigerian National Theatre’s energy needs. The project reduces annual CO₂ emissions by approximately 550 tons while creating local economic value and job opportunities, advancing sustainable development in the region.

Looking ahead, JinkoSolar remains committed to its founding mission, driven by technological innovation and social responsibility. The company will continue integrating ESG principles into its operations, contributing to harmonious coexistence among society, the environment, and the economy—a testament to its duty as a leading global solar enterprise.
