KSTAR’s Comprehensive PV-Storage-Charging Solutions Shine at SNEC PV+

On June 11th, KSTAR made a grand appearance at the Shanghai SNEC exhibition, showcasing its flagship products and innovative technological achievements. The immersive booth layout demonstrated the innovative integration of photovoltaic (PV), energy storage, and charging solutions across all scenarios, presenting a visual and technological feast for global attendees.

Facing increasingly stringent challenges in power plant operation and maintenance, grid integration, and system safety, KSTAR has continuously increased its R&D investment to achieve rapid product iteration and upgrades. At this exhibition, KSTAR highlighted its 320kW string inverter, 1.1MW outdoor centralized inverter, and 4.4MW & 3.125MW centralized inverter-booster integrated machines, offering global customers high-performance and highly reliable green power solutions.

The 320kW string inverter, as a mainstream product in the current maximum power segment, boasts a maximum efficiency of 99.02% and a China efficiency of 98.5%, achieving efficient power generation. With an MPPT current of 75A, it is perfectly compatible with high-power bifacial modules. Featuring 6 MPPT channels and 30 inputs, it supports high capacity ratios and complex terrains. Its IP66 protection + C5 corrosion-resistant design enables it to adapt to complex and harsh environments. Additionally, the inverter is equipped with intelligent I-V diagnostics to accurately locate abnormal modules and built-in AC/DC Class II lightning protection devices for enhanced safety and reliability. Currently, this product has been successfully applied in multiple large-scale wind and solar base projects in Hebei, Qinghai, Shanxi, Guizhou, and other regions, continuously creating green value.

The GSM1100D outdoor centralized inverter and GSM4400D-MV centralized inverter-booster integrated machine, as iterative new products launched at this exhibition, attracted significant attention and once again affirmed KSTAR’s core leadership in this field. The former adopts a unique air duct design, supports multi-level parallel connections for flexible capacity expansion, and features high/low voltage ride-through capabilities for strong grid adaptability. The latter, along with the GSM3125D-MV, are KSTAR’s “star” products for ground-mounted power plants, offering performance advantages such as high power generation, high reliability, and lower LCOE. These products adopt a turnkey solution integrating inverter and converter with a unified external communication interface, enabling rapid deployment, unified commissioning, and operation and maintenance. With an SCR of 1.02, they ensure stable operation in extremely weak grids. They also feature nighttime SVG functionality to effectively save power plant construction costs. With outdoor IP55/IP65 protection + C5 corrosion resistance rating and a wide temperature range (-40℃~+60℃) design, they are suitable for complex and harsh application environments with high temperatures, high humidity, and high altitudes.

For commercial and industrial scenarios, KSTAR exhibited its G80KT, G110KT, and G150KT series string inverters. These products feature a maximum MPPT current of 48A, perfectly compatible with high-power bifacial modules. They are equipped with string monitoring and I-V scanning functions to accurately locate abnormal modules. With IP66 protection + C5 corrosion resistance, they adapt to harsh installation environments. Remote monitoring, fault diagnosis, and software upgrades make operation and maintenance time-saving, labor-saving, and worry-free, facilitating the green and low-carbon transformation of commercial and industrial parks.

In the residential PV sector, KSTAR’s G5KS-D11, G25KT7, and G50KT7 series PV inverters are its flagship classic products in the residential PV field. After years of continuous innovation and upgrades, these products cover a super-full power range from 3kW to 50kW, meeting diverse market demands and continuously leading the development of residential PV.

Focusing on the integration trend of PV, storage, and charging, KSTAR launched a one-stop smart energy solution for commercial and industrial scenarios. This solution deeply integrates commercial and industrial PV-storage systems with high-protection DC chargers, constructing a closed-loop ecosystem of “power generation-energy storage-charging-peak shaving,” suitable for typical scenarios such as charging stations, highway service areas, parking lots, and industrial/logistics parks.

The KAC50DP2-BC107DE2 and KAC125DP2-BC233DE2, as new commercial and industrial PV-storage integrated machines, were heavily showcased at this exhibition. These products are equipped with a fully self-developed and self-produced 3S system, adopting safe, reliable, and long-life CATL LFP battery cells (with up to 8,000 cycle times and a 10-year performance warranty). Efficient temperature control + PCS external hanging design reduces thermal impact. They are equipped with multiple safety protections such as two-stage aerosol, pressure relief windows, carbon monoxide detection, audible and visual alarms, exhaust fans, and fire-fighting water injection ports, comprehensively fortifying safety defenses.

The 400kW high-protection DC integrated charger, with an IP65 protection rating as its core advantage, supports dual-gun simultaneous charging and 400A high-current output, ensuring stable operation in sandy and high-humidity environments. The IP65 40kW charging module adopts SiC MOS design, with a peak efficiency of ≥97%, zero standby power consumption, and intelligent noise reduction functions to further reduce operating costs, providing a cost-effective choice for charging infrastructure construction in remote areas.

In the home smart energy exhibition area, KSTAR heavily launched new residential energy storage products. These products are centered around the concepts of “minimalist design, high safety, and intelligent ecosystem,” adopting a wireless quick-plug design for plug-and-play convenience, requiring no debugging, and enabling fast and easy installation. Equipped with Tier1 high-quality battery cells, they offer higher power density, longer cycle life, lower electricity costs, and a 10-year warranty commitment. They feature AFCI arc detection technology to intelligently identify arc risks and respond in milliseconds, comprehensively safeguarding electrical safety. Additionally, paired with a delicate and compact 7kW AC charging pile with intelligent charging management functions, they form a closed-loop home energy solution, facilitating green travel and clean electricity consumption.

KSTAR’s Home and Knight series residential PV-storage integrated machines and inverters were also showcased simultaneously. These products are primarily targeted at the Middle East and African markets, compatible with grid power and PV power generation, supporting multiple charging modes. In remote areas and scenarios with insufficient grid coverage, they can also ensure users’ basic living needs and worry-free electricity usage.

In the large-scale energy storage exhibition area, the exhibited GSE3450D-MV adopts a highly integrated design with IP55-level protection capabilities, enabling direct outdoor installation and easy maintenance. It features a three-level topology design with PQ, VSG, and VF operation modes. It also offers high/low voltage ride-through capabilities, adjustable power acceptance for dispatching, and black-start functionality. It supports IEC61850 and IEC104 protocols for flexible scheduling and rapid response, comprehensively meeting the new demands for energy storage on the new energy side.
