On April 3, the 200MW/400MWh independent energy storage project in Longan County, Nanning City, undertaken by the Southern Company of China Construction Eighth Bureau, held a groundbreaking ceremony in Longan County. Huang Xiaogen, vice president of Guangdong Enterprise Federation and chairman of Guangdong Heguangtong Investment Co., Ltd., Zhou Xin, vice president of new energy business department of Yiyatong group and executive director of Guangdong yuenengda New Energy Development Co., Ltd., and Cao Xiaoliang, deputy general manager of China Construction Eighth Bureau Southern Company, attended the commencement ceremony.
the project is located in the overseas Chinese economic zone of nitong town, Longan county, Nanning city, Guangxi, covering an area of about 45 mu. it is the first independent energy storage power station in Longan county, it is also a crucial new energy storage infrastructure on the power grid side of Guangxi and Nanning.
the construction contents of the project include: 200MW/400MWh energy storage field area construction, 220kV transmission line of newly-built substation, 220kV power distribution equipment, 220kV main transformer, 35kV energy storage incoming line switch cabinet, computer monitoring system part and system communication part, civil engineering and construction and installation works. The project is the key node of the “cloud electricity into Guangdong” channel, after completion, to assume the balance of regional power grid load, improve the power system regulation capacity of the important functions, in order to optimize the regional energy structure, promote the local economic and social development of high-quality injection of green kinetic energy.
Representatives of project design, supervision and other units, and relevant persons in charge of the infrastructure branch of China Construction Eighth Bureau Southern Company attended the commencement ceremony.
