Recently, China Can Build Gezhouba No.2 Company won the bid for Beihai Weiyu New Independent Shared Energy Storage Power Station Project (Phase I).
The project is located in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, with a total area of about 41.75 mu and a construction area of about 1000 square meters, the construction scale is 200 MW/362 MW-hour electrochemical and super capacitor hybrid energy storage power station and related supporting facilities, including main control center, main control room, low-voltage power distribution room, etc. It is a key new energy infrastructure project and “independent sharing energy storage” demonstration project in Beihai City.
The construction of the project will significantly improve the peak regulation and frequency modulation capacity of the regional power grid and the level of new energy consumption, provide stable and flexible energy storage support for the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone, further optimize the local energy structure, and promote new energy storage technology Diversified demonstration applications help Guangxi accelerate the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system.
