Aiko Solar Powers Europe’s Largest N-Type BC Ground-Mounted Power Station

Recently, the Stolac Solami Park project located in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been fully put into operation. It is currently the largest operational N-type BC ground-mounted power station in Europe. Developed by Tibra Pacific, the project has a total installed capacity of 64 MW and exclusively uses Aiko Solar’s ABC modules. It is now steadily delivering clean electricity to the regional power grid.

In the first phase of the project, 40.5 MW of TOPCon modules and 6 MW of Aiko Solar’s ABC modules were employed, and grid connection was achieved in early June. After on-site calculations by Tibra Pacific’s engineering team, it was found that under the same area, Aiko Solar’s ABC modules increased power generation by 12% and reduced power generation costs by 3% compared to TOPCon modules, showcasing significant product value advantages. Based on this substantial advantage in power generation under actual operating conditions, the TOPCon modules originally planned for the second phase of the project were completely replaced with Aiko Solar’s ABC modules.

Robert Brajkovic, Chairman of Tibra Pacific, stated, “For us, module products not only need to perform well in laboratories but also demonstrate efficient and reliable performance in real-world applications. The outstanding performance of ABC modules in the Stolac Solami Park project fully validates our choice. As the largest grid-connected and operational ground-mounted photovoltaic power station in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this project has become an important milestone in the development of renewable energy in the country.”
