AIKO has unveiled partnerships to deliver 2 GW of its GEN 2 n-type ABC solar modules to Australia over the next three years.
The partnership was signed with key solar distributors Solar Juice, AC Solar Warehouse, Sol Distribution, and Tradezone.
The GEN 2 n-type ABC solar modules, comprising the Neostar, Comet, and Stellar series, were officially introduced during Smart Energy 2024, a renewables event held in Sydney, Australia. These series are designed for utility-scale, commercial and industrial (C&I), and residential applications.
The ABC modules have a conversion efficiency of 25.15%, a performance certified by TÜV-SÜD. According to Henry Xia, Vice President of AIKO Digital Energy, the modules deliver high power output, optimized performance under partial shading and effective temperature control.
Scientia Professor Martin Green from UNSW commented, “AIKO’s innovative work on their ABC solar module resonates closely with our vision for the future of silicon photovoltaics, especially in back contact structures.”
To ensure access to its products across Australia, AIKO has built a nationwide sales and distributor network, covering key cities and remote areas, said Alex Hang, President of AIKO APAC.
