Astronergy and Sonepar Germany Partner for Successful Roadshow Series Across European Cities, Boosting Distributed PV Market in Europe

From February 28 to May 17, Astronergy, a leading Chinese solar module manufacturer, partnered with Sonepar Germany, a major European electrical distribution giant, to host a series of roadshow events in Augsburg, Bochum, and Hannover. Focused on advancing photovoltaic (PV) technology innovation and market applications, the events deepened strategic collaboration between Astronergy and its German partners, injecting fresh vitality into Europe’s distributed PV market through product displays, technical exchanges, and industry dialogues.

Augsburg Event Highlights

At the inaugural Augsburg stop, Astronergy showcased its ASTRO N7s all-black modules, designed specifically for the European market. Powered by the company’s proprietary TOPCon 5.0 cells and ZBB technology, the modules achieved a 5%-6% power generation gain compared to conventional products under identical roof areas. Combining a fishbone-free design with black grid glass, the ASTRO N7s’ sleek aesthetic seamlessly integrated with rooftops. Its compact footprint (under 2㎡) and lightweight design enabled single-person handling and installation, enhancing construction efficiency and adaptability to European market demands.

Bochum Event Strengthens Customer Engagement

The Bochum event prioritized direct client interaction. Astronergy’s booth, located adjacent to Sonepar’s main exhibition area, facilitated real-time direct engagement with end-user needs. The company hosted site visits from partners such as Lippe Solar GmbH and conducted on-the-spot discussions to address technical queries raised by attendees.

Hannover Event Captures Industry Attention

In Hannover, Astronergy stole the spotlight once again. During the joint roadshow with Sonepar, the companies presented Astronergy’s product strengths and market competitiveness through innovative interactive formats. Technical experts demonstrated the ASTRO N series’ superior performance in conversion efficiency, temperature coefficients, and low-light conditions. Detailed data comparisons and technical explanations highlighted the power generation gains of n-type TOPCon technology over traditional p-type alternatives.

As a key annual event for Sonepar, the roadshow series attracted over 200 manufacturers spanning smart buildings, industrial software, energy efficiency management, and other sectors. Astronergy leveraged live demonstrations and case studies to illustrate how its high-efficiency modules reduce system Balance of System (BOS) costs and deliver innovative PV solutions to professional audiences.
