At Intersolar Europe 2025, Huawei Digital Power’s Intelligent PV Business Unit today launched a groundbreaking full-scenario grid-forming energy storage platform and a next-gen residential energy management system, setting new benchmarks for safety, scalability, and smart grid integration in the renewable energy sector.

Zhou Tao announced Huawei’s strategic goals and value propositions for intelligent PV. Zheng Yue launched Huawei’s next-generation full-scenario intelligent modular grid-forming energy storage platform, including new products for utility-scale and C&I applications. Addressing challenges such as grid instability from high renewable penetration and energy storage safety, Huawei’s platform defines the golden standard for grid-forming capabilities:
- Full-scenario grid-forming: Covering the entire power system value chain (generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption) under all operating conditions and lifecycle stages.
- End-to-end safety from chip to grid: A six-layer safety design elevating protection from the industry-standard container level to battery-pack-level thermal runaway non-propagation, ensuring “smaller protection units = higher safety.”
