Linyang Energy Advances GW-Scale Solar-Storage Project in Italy with Strategic Partner SVAM Following Sardinia Site Visit

Following the completion of a project inspection in Sardinia, Italy, Linyang Group President and Linyang Energy Chairman Lu Yonghua, accompanied by his core management team, traveled to Sicily, Italy, on May 15th (local time) with strategic partner SVAM to conduct an on-site assessment of their planned GW-scale solar-plus-storage cooperative development project. Both parties engaged in in-depth technical discussions focusing on energy storage system layouts, grid connection point selection, and noise mitigation strategies.

During the inspection, Chairman Lu emphasized the need to align the project closely with local grid resources, urging rigorous technical validation and implementation of site selection plans. He stressed that energy storage layouts must account for Sicily’s geological characteristics and cultural heritage distribution, prioritizing avoidance of protected archaeological zones and geologically complex areas. SVAM affirmed its commitment to adhering to environmental impact assessment (EIA) requirements, actively collaborating with grid operators and technical experts to ensure compliant and orderly project advancement.

Addressing noise control challenges, Chairman Lu stated that Linyang Energy would leverage its global experience in energy storage projects to establish a systematic noise reduction framework. This includes optimizing equipment materials, integrating multi-layered noise mitigation technologies, deploying soundproofing measures in residential areas, and implementing real-time monitoring to continuously enhance noise reduction capabilities.

The Sicily site visit provided practical support for both parties’ collaborative solar-storage project development, significantly accelerating cooperation efficiency. In response to global energy transition demands, Linyang Energy remains dedicated to strengthening scenario-specific technical adaptation through field investigations, establishing replicable collaboration frameworks in international projects, and driving green development through technological innovation. The company aims to partner with high-quality enterprises to collectively advance the global zero-carbon agenda.
