Indian solar company Waaree Energies has officially commissioned its new 1.8GW solar module manufacturing plant in Chikhli, Gujarat, India.
The new facility increases Waaree Energies’ total annual module production capacity to 16.8GW, further strengthening its position in India’s solar manufacturing sector.
Currently, Waaree Energies operates a 5.4GW solar cell production line and is actively expanding its upstream and downstream capacities.
The company has set clear long-term targets: by the end of FY2027, it plans to increase its annual module production capacity to 25.7GW, solar cell capacity to 15.4GW, and achieve 10GW annual ingot and wafer production capacity.
