On September 15, the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Enterprise Directors Association released the “2025 China’s Top 500 Enterprises” list. Thanks to its outstanding comprehensive strength and continuous innovation capabilities, Trina Solar has been included in the list for the third consecutive year, ranking 308th.
The “China’s Top 500 Enterprises” list is an authoritative reference for measuring the comprehensive strength of Chinese companies. The ranking is based on corporate operating income, and the threshold for inclusion in the 2025 list has risen for the 23rd consecutive year, reaching RMB 47.96 billion, an increase of RMB 579 million compared to the previous year.
This recognition highlights Trina Solar’s resilience in facing industry challenges such as internal competition and external barriers. The company ranks first globally in patents for perovskite solar cells. In 2024, its net cash flow from operating activities exceeded RMB 8 billion, maintaining a leading position among top photovoltaic enterprises. Its energy storage business has a global reach, with cumulative shipments exceeding 10 GWh, and the company plans to double its shipments this year.
Currently, Trina Solar is accelerating its strategic transformation from a “photovoltaic module manufacturer” to a “leader in smart energy solutions integrating solar and storage,” restructuring its business system and committed to continuously expanding the application boundaries of new energy scenarios. The company is intensifying efforts in distributed and centralized systems, as well as new scenarios, fostering new growth drivers such as smart microgrids, virtual power plants, source-grid-load-storage integration, zero-carbon parks, green computing, and green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol production. These initiatives have become Trina Solar’s second growth curve.
