Recently, Trina Solar Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiary, Trina Storage, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Pacific Green Energy Group Pty Ltd. According to the agreement, the two parties plan to collaborate from 2026 to 2028 to deliver battery energy storage systems with a total capacity of up to 5 GWh. The signing of this agreement marks another significant large-scale cooperation in the global energy storage sector. Once completed, the projects will be capable of storing and dispatching up to 5 billion watt-hours of electricity per hour, significantly enhancing grid reliability and accelerating the transition to a clean, low-carbon future.
Moving forward, Trina Storage will provide its advanced grid-scale energy storage system, which integrates industry-leading safety, high efficiency, and long-life design. Pacific Green will be responsible for project development and delivery in Australia and other international markets.
