Trina Storage’s Fourth Quarter Shipments Expected to Exceed 5 GWh, Nearing Total Annual Shipments for 2024

After a decade of dedicated effort, Trina Solar, as one of the earliest PV companies to enter the energy storage sector, has been deeply involved in the industry for ten years. On November 7, Trina Storage celebrated its tenth anniversary. In his speech, Gao Jifan, Chairman of Trina Solar, emphasized that as an industry-leading brand with full-stack in-house R&D capabilities spanning from cells to cabinets and systems, Trina Storage will fully capitalize on the rapid growth opportunities in the energy storage market. Leveraging its integrated advantages in cell-to-system technology and its global market presence, Trina Storage aims to maximize growth and become the second growth curve for Trina Solar.

Driven by its foresight into the future market and its full-stack capabilities in R&D, production, and delivery—from cells to DC cabinets and AC-side systems—Trina Storage has achieved a historic breakthrough in shipments since the fourth quarter of this year. Quarterly shipments are expected to exceed 5 GWh, nearly matching the total shipments for the entire previous year, marking a remarkable achievement for Trina Storage’s tenth anniversary.

This outstanding performance is attributed to the company’s strategic global presence. In the North American market, leveraging localized services and customized solutions, the company is projected to complete over 1 GWh of project shipments, achieving a year-on-year growth of 200% and solidifying its leadership in the high-end market. In the Latin American market, with its precise understanding and rapid response to local market needs, the company has deployed over 1.2 GWh of projects. In the European market, backed by strong R&D capabilities and reliable product quality, shipments are expected to exceed 1.2 GWh. In the Asia-Pacific market, the company continues to strengthen its foundation with 1.8 GWh of shipments, maintaining its deep-rooted presence and leading position in the region.
